In almost any process, work items will be "assembled" at some point. This could mean putting a component inside a box, as in simulation terms this is assembling since 2 or more items will be converted into 1 item.
Alter the simulation as above - create a new storage bin and connect it to Process 1. Click on the Store, and select the Start Up button. Set the Start Up condition to 100 - this places 100 parts in the store when the simulation is started. Name the Store "Stocks" Select the Collect option. The Collect Option assembles parts - so 2 parts will enter the work center, but only 1 will leave. Work will not start until all the parts required are present. What happens when the Stocks storage bin is empty?
